Our group is proud to offer taiko entertainment for many different kinds of events. We have played at parties, banquets, weddings, nightclubs, community events, parades, races… and more!

Let us help you add taiko to your event in whatever capacity you need. Our shows can be as short as 5 min, and as long as 1.5 hours! Contact us for more information.

Educational/School Performance

KNT has a program for schools, and we participate each year in the Explore Japan series with the Edmonton Japanese Community Association for high school students. Our educational performances provide information about our group, our songs, the instruments and Japanese culture around taiko. It also includes a mini workshop for volunteers from the audience.

collaborative projects

One of the great things about taiko is how it is flexible and compliments other musical traditions or arts. Kita no Taiko has been honoured to work with artists, musicians and performers to create collaborative pieces and concerts.
